The fire of an oil well in Pasir Putih Village, Ranto Peureulak Sub-district, East Aceh, Aceh, was highlighted by the world. A number of foreign media reported about the explosion of an oil well that killed 11 people.

This oil well explosion occurred at around 02:00 am early this morning when the residents crowded digging the location out of oil. As a result of this explosion, 11 people were killed and 43 others suffered serious injuries.

The seriously injured were evacuated to Zubir Mahmud General Hospital in Idi Rayeuk, Graha Bunda Hospital in Idi Rayeuk, and Sultan Abdul Azis Syah General Hospital in Peureulak.

The exploded oil well is thought to belong to a local resident named Nazaruddin. In this incident, Nazar and 10 other citizens Died the world.
