In my home state of NC the Word of Faith Followship, who was already under investigation for beating a gay man who says he was scared for his life is now being accused with importing Brazilian slaves.
The from brought on tourist and student visas and made to work for no pay. The church had the Brazilians clean warehouses and offices that the church owns on their 35 acre estate.
The Brazilians had their passports taken when they arrived. When they refused to work they were " beaten and shamed".
This will be the second accusation of kidnapping against the church in the past year.
