I think we would all agree Trump would love Steemit.
This could be a great thing to help the world and America become great again censorship free!!
I started by tweeting Donald Trump. His account is @realDonaldTrump. I think if enough of us do everything we can to contact Trump and explain quickly about steemit, the decentralized social media that is censorship free, we could probably get him to start posting here. Who better to get on steemit and help support our community than the President Elect of the USA.
So I ask that we all join together. Help make America great again. Help make steemit great. If you have any other people you would like to see on steemit comment below and possibly add a way to contact them. Together we can accomplish great things.

I absolutely detest Donald Trump, and I would hate to see the mean scumbag on Steemit.
Yeah, I know plenty of racist, misogynistic, alt-right fuckheads with a fairly large audience of fans who would love a blogging platform on which they can say whatever they want. Some of them even used to be my friends, and I could easily invite them here.
Despite the growth of the Steem Platform being my primary job responsibility, I haven't invited them. I would like to forestall the flood of nazi bullshit onto steemit.com as long as is possible.
Wel said, and I'm happy to hear that. There is a fair amount of racism and misogynism, etc here already, but it's not so much out in the open. Some people will start to get a lot more vocal and nasty if their leaders start to come on here and cheer them on.

I am not sure that would be the case as the value would increase, the steem rewards would be lower but the value higher.

I would agree that trying to get Trump isn't aiming too high just because hes on twitter and we are better than that!!! I don't really downvote on here just because I believe flag and downvote should be different things on here.
Well...jokiness is nice, but someone like Donald Trump is very used to receiving business ideas - many of them. People at his level are like Hollywood moguls: they treat would-be opportunity providers like moguls treat wannabe actors, directors, etc.
Given Trump's business record, if he gets interested at all he'll be interested in a fork. Trump Steaks, Trump Water, Trump Coin.

That's a good point. You're right: if Kanye West had sued to take over "Coinye" rather than take it down, and had run it in the way he liked, that would have been incredible for Bitcoin & the others.
Same thing if (say) Katy Perry had discovered Dogecoin & became a shibe.
