RE: PFT EXCLUSIVE: MAN ASSAULTED AND “ARRESTED” BY CANADIAN TIRE EMPLOYEES FOR EXERCISING MASK EXEMPTION!!!

in #news4 years ago

Right now it is what it is. Regardless if one doesn't like the mandate they have no right putting another person's business at risk of being shut down. In that regard this has gone beyond the issue of masking to personal loss and risk associated with that loss. If the virus ends up being not as bad as portrayed then eventually people will figure it out and revolt in numbers to large to ignore or enforce, if ultimately it is a bad as they say then I'd say until the realization of either of those points the man is in the wrong for not only putting the owner at risk of shut down or losing his business but also putting others at risk. In no way though should any body have a right to be tackling people over it, that should be left up to law enforcement.

Sort:

The B.C. Human Rights act allows any business to respect and honor a mask exemption without being fined for observing that exemption. The business cannot be shutdown legally or fined.
