I wouldn't say unfit to exist but I would say the constitution doesn't guarantee anything. What we believe in needs to be fight for on a daily basis. I would also argue, as someone on Steem have put it that the system in place is more akin to electing a king or queen for some X period of years than a truly respectable essay at a fair system of governance.
