Sexist violence against women is surely the most shameful problem to which, today, humanity faces.
The situation of women, under certain religious fundamentalisms, is atrocious. In many Muslim countries, from Afghanistan to Jordan, more than 90% of men justify sexist violence, even leading to the death of women. The figures are very similar in caste societies in large regions of India.

Surprisingly the figures of sexist violence in the most advanced European countries (Sweden, Norway and Denmark) are significantly worse than in Spain.
