This is huge! I just ran across this just this minute. There is already a Lightning app that you can use to send and receive funds to and from your coinbase account. Very freaking awesome!
The vid shows a live transaction example both sending and receiving to a live coinbase account with instant confirmations over the lightning network:
Remember it is an alpha release so be careful out there.
Good news, but I will be more excited when coin base says all is safe with lightning network and battle tested, just my personal feelings
Of course, of course. This is only alpha, so be very careful. But it shows that lightning does work with coinbase on the main net. Did you see how fast it is? This little video made my morning :-)
