2018 FIFA World Cup, Group Stage: Mexico 0 : 3 Sweden 2018-06-27

in #news6 years ago

Sweden advanced to the World Cup round of 16 as Group F winners after a 3-0 win over Mexico, who still advanced thanks to Germany's defeat to South Korea on Wednedsay.

31': Marcus Berg almost scores a goal, assisted by Mikael Lustig.

50': Ludwig Augustinsson scores a goal, assisted by Viktor Claesson.

62': Andreas Granqvist scores a goal.

74': Own Goal by Edson Álvarez.

Bullshit Time:

I didn't expect Sweden would beat Mexico like this. It was not guarantee that Mexico would progress to final 16. It looked like the team which beat Germany was gone in this game.

Sweden played well. They showed us that they proved themselves that they deserve a spot at final 16.

Man of the match: Andreas Granqvist, 33 years old, 192cm, 84kg, has 1 goal and 2 assists for FC Krasnodar in Russia Premier League last season.

Game End

@wf9877muy bien resumido amigo la verdad estuvieron buenos estos partidos bastante cerrados buena asistencia gracias por compartir @wf9877

sweden have done what they needed to. they are like the winners and toppers for me so far. though they won only 2 matches but they played breath takingly. without stars like ibrahimovic. these sweden underdogs are going brilliant so far. for me they are of the favourites in the tournament. thanks for sharing.
