All sounds good to me. If you can spare a little delegation for @tenkminnows it will support some small accounts or just follow the voting trail. I'm not so bothered about it earning from curation.
We are already getting better rewards distribution thanks to the free downvotes. I think some of the bigger accounts could do a little less self-voting to spread out further. They will still do well from curation rewards.
It is important to emphasise that helping the Steem community improve benefits is all. Self interest should not be the only concern.
We also do not want trending to be full of posts about Steem. Get some quantity creative posts up there.
