RE: Top 10 Dumb Downvote Objections

in #newsteem6 years ago

I was told the otherday to use honey instead of vinegar when downvoting and criticizing poor behavior on the blockchain (people were encouraged to resteem and comment a bid bot abused token shill for 1 steem) because that's why Americans voted Trump.
Now I am curious who is the Trump of Steem?

Sort:

Trump / Honey / Poor Behavior within 1 sentences, you sure are fast with thoughts! Love it!

Would you like to explain a bit plz?

Some would argue that we have Trump as president right now because people got sick of being told what they should think and feel. Honey works better than vinegar...

He was upset that I said people who resteem the spammy bidbot abuse crypto shill for 1 steem should be ashamed. He said I actually encouraged him to do it because I said it is shameful.

I haven't replied, but feel free to do or suggest.

yes let me check

your judgment is intact, what a slaughter that comment section is... awful... only if there would have been a way to avoid it

I told him to leave you alone, because you have only the best intentions in mind

Thanks. To be honest I got bored of talking to him. I just wanted to be sure I understood what he was saying.

Did you read that part:

Now, if you happened to use a different approach, you might very well have my support.

What an a*hole. As if you'd need his support to stand your ground.

That's a sure sign of someone who could be trolling. Can't stop everyone from behaving badly. However, I'm sure a few people saw the top comments were all controversial and decided they better pass, not to mention the number of downvotes received.

Steem will not get any better with his attitude. Also, if we treat bad behavior with honey (we tried for 3 years), it doesn't exactly lead to a good outcome.
