Let me be clear, some of us are not trying to build any of meritocracies, oligarchies, nor cronyism. I know there's are narratives about each, but they are not part of my goals here.
You don't have to try and build the oligarchy or the cronyism - It's fundamentally here, and coded into to the structure that is steem (....and the rewards pool inflation mechanism).
