5 REASONS WHY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION ARE GARBAGE

5 REASONSimages.jpg WHY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION
ARE GARBAGE

  1. You are not turning one, you have had many new years before, and I am assuming you made
resolutions every time which you abandoned in the first few weeks. the first reason for that
is your willingness to change comes from a change in number [2017 to 2018]
This is a tendency, you do this all the time. You say I will start studying from 1st of the coming month,
I will join the gym on the 1st
, I will work on my assignment from Monday. A new year, 1st of a month,
make it official so your brain is easily convinced that whatever you are saying makes sense, because
    1
st of everything makes perfect sense
  2. Because you are inspired by the resetting of the clock, which you transcribe as a new
beginning, the inspiration is corrupted, the motive to bring about a change in your life
should only come from a strong willingness to stop f**king up and become better.
Every day is a new day, if you truly wanted to change right now would be your choice, or
tomorrow at most. What does 1st of anything has to do with getting your shit together?
  3. It’s a trend, like I said, change has nothing to do with auspicious timing. That is superstitious
baloney you may believe in it doesn’t really have any effect on change deciding to bring new
change in yourself with the new year is actually joining the bandwagon you’re doing it
    because everybody is doing it
  4. This is just another form of procrastination. Congratulations, you’ve found yet another
excuse to prolong the change. The fact of life is simple if you can’t do it right now, nothing
extraordinary will happen on the 1st either, because you will still remain you on the first, and
that day will pass exactly like the current day is right now
  5. What new year’s resolution expose quite beautifully is the fact that you want to change,
there are short comings that you are acknowledging and accepting for the first time. Hold
onto that feeling, sit down with yourself and start digging in, why for months or years have
you been living with them? Saying I will get rid of something because it’s the 1
    st is the lamest
excuse to quit after you have finally started taking yourself seriously
These problem have stayed with you for the longest time, just a change in digits is not going
to solve them. If something that cripples your growth has successfully managed to stay with
you for this long, don’t trivialise it by excuses like dumbass new year resolutions take them
    seriously...
