Hello! It’s been a while since my last post. This time, I tried a new art idea suggested to me: using a white base with black lines and minimal color, different from my usual art style.
At first, I thought it was just a matter of inverting monochrome, but it turned out to be completely different. The lines I used to draw for [light] had to represent [shadows], and that alone only conveyed about a tenth of the impact of my previous work.
So, I decided to add minimal color to the [neutral] areas between light and shadow. Instead of coloring the entire piece, I used just a few colors to suggest the car’s body color.
This time, I focused on the rear section but struggled a lot with whether to include a rear wing, bumper, or diffuser.
In the end, I boldly chose not to draw them, emphasizing the car’s wedge shape and its [thinness] to the fullest.
I’m not sure how well I conveyed this to everyone, but I feel I’ve discovered a new style that wasn’t in me before, and it feels like I’ve grown a little more.

So fine! Love this piece. So far this is the top contender for our car art drawing contest!
Thank you very much! So many wonderful artists are participating, and even if I don’t take first place, I’d be thrilled just to be one of your favorite works. Thank you for this amazing project!
