Before you jump to the airdrop and get your free ship, let's take a look at the game itself here we see that Farsite is a blockchain-powered sandbox MMO based in a post-apocalyptic story.
Personally, I like post-apocalyptic settings and I love the idea of space travel.
Let's see what else is going on. Player-owned, player-controlled economy.
I like the sound of that other games that have those qualities like Axie Infinity and Alien Worlds have been very successful lately
Let's take a look at the story.
Looks like epidemics are to blame not the machines, and technology saves the day by delivering humanity to its new homestead at the farthest reaches of the universe.
Okay, you got me on board let's dig a little deeper. Looks like you travel between stars in the constellation, build bases on planets, extract resources. Looks like you can mine asteroids as then head back to the space station to buy and sell goods and repair your spaceship.
Let's look at some of the fun stuff - spaceship hulls: looks like there are small, medium, and large as well as common/affordable, mid-range/practical, and the high-end limited edition ships.
I know which one I'll be aiming for.
Okay, on to modules. Looks like you can modify your ship with five types of modules with three subcategories each: small, medium, and large (likely needs to match your ship).

Oh, and there are grades as well.
Okay, it seems you will need a blueprint and components to produce ships and modules. That's interesting: every item and game can be produced by players.
Players with the original blueprint will be able to make unlimited copies of an item, but players with a copy of a blueprint will be able to make a limited number with the quality decreasing over time.
So let's take a look at the crates that are going to be available.
Looks like green and blue would get you started with a ship hull, some modules, and ammo as the quality of the chests goes up so does the quality of the ship and models. Go high enough and you'll start to get blueprints. The highest crate the club crate has a limited edition blueprint for the top tier ship, a legendary hull, a legendary module which are both cNFT items with credits locked inside them, and a club key that grants exclusive access to certain stations and in-game services.
Let's check out the gameplay - looks like there are lots of careers for different play styles.
Let's take a look at the base building. Okay, you own a sector and build a base out of connected buildings each with its own purpose then get to mining resources for trade and production. Looks like there are also contracts, these function like missions or quests in other games.

On a larger scale, it looks like you can take over control of a planet or even a star.
Cost of some in-game items: as you can see there are some reach goals with considerable value.
Let's take a look at the airdrop where you can earn a starter ship to join the airdrop, confirm your email, and complete a few simple tasks like following Farsight on Youtube and Twitter.
You can get SC points toward your first weapon, a mining laser, a container, and even an upgraded starter ship by completing more tasks. Some are done once; others can be done weekly or monthly.
Recruiting friends can give you unlimited SC and credits when they buy chests.
