When the site first came alive we made it as a single page application. As the site moved on we saw it was slow to load and images weren't displaying the way we wanted them to. So we adjusted the front end to a server side rendered application. We got lazy loading in there. Now the site loads quickly, and links to gallery pages also include images. It's a nice upgrade.
Because of the challenges of switching the front end we had been holding off on whitelisting (allow listing) new artists. Now that it's done artists are getting approved again. It's pretty fun to watch the new artists and the new art that they are putting up on the site.
If you're an artist or a collector it's worth checking out nftshowroom.com. The sites only a few weeks old and already the amount of art sold is in the thousands! So, that's a good start.
If you're coming from another platform, there are a few new things to get used to because this projects lives on hive and more specifically hive-engine, but the main benefits of being here are: 3 second block times, no gas fees, and a social media application where you can grow an audience and share your work.

I love seeing updates. This is a very interesting project to watch in my opinion. Even though it isn't my thing, I can see it providing a great service of bringing together buyers and creators of digital art together.
The idea to expand this to photography carries even more potential in my opinion.
Good project. I think it is important to get an auction style and the secondary market in place ASAP, so we can attract people from the other sites. Perhaps also try to get drops from some more established artist.
