The man, the myth, the legend. Sidney Crosby the greatest player of this generation put the exclamation point on a 7-0 BLOWOUT win in the first game of the 2018 NHL Playoffs. The game was a penguins tilt the whole way through. Crosby notched a natural hat trick as he got all three of the Penguins final goals. Crosby is the third Penguin in the franchise's history to do so putting him in the company of Mario Lemieux who also notched a natural hat trick in the mid 90s.
Although I predicted the Pens beating the Flyers from the start I expect to see the Flyers put up a much better fight as the series moves forward. The Flyers are a good team and in the playoffs for a reason and I hope to see the battle of Penssylvania reach its true potential.
