OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1382nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Rice pudding

This is probably the easiest sweet to prepare. Just cook some rice with enough water so that it cooks well and becomes doughy. Then add the milk with a little bit of cinnamon sticks, sugar, a pinch of salt and let it cook more.
{Everything sweet has to have a pinch of salt, if you don't know this you are fried (it´s a cuban expression, in this context means "estás frito", you don´t know anything)}.

Jollibee birthday party: It’s our first time

When you say, Jollibee! almost or I think everyone knows about it. It is one of the most known fast food chains here in our country. It is loved by many, young and adult and most of all by kids.
One day my college friend invited me and my son to attend a Jollibee birthday party of her son who will turn seven that day. Reading that invitation from my inbox makes me excited because in my age I haven’t been in a Jollibee birthday party. I told my son and he felt so excited too that he asks how many days left before that day. The Jollibee birthday party will be on October 19, 2023 at 5 in the afternoon.

Ponquesitos rellenos con arequipe / Cupcakes filled with arequipe 🧁

It was a regional holiday and my eldest daughter was going to be with me in the morning at home, so I baked her some delicious cupcakes filled with arequipe to eat in the company of her little sister while they played and enjoyed this day without going to school, although she always wants to go.
This is just a simple recipe for cake, but with the variant that I use it for cupcakes with a center that sweetens anyone, what I enjoy most about this recipe is the aroma that comes out when it is in the oven and of course eating the arequipe before starting to fill, you know the quality control of the ingredient.

By the side of my table lies a book of comfort, the holy Bible where I read the divine writings to gain insight for my daily living, a sort of guidance in this dark and chaotic world which lifts my spirit every morning, leaving me with some sort of unexplainable joy.
My book and pen are just by the corner as well, a place I call my comfort zone, a place of vulnerability without a mask or filter, where I unleash my wild thoughts, feelings, fears, anger and all of my emotions without the fear of being judged.

There are times when gifts from friends or loved ones can be so important to us that we find it hard to let it go even after it's been time-worn. We don't care about it's physical appearance or how long we've had it, it just seems so difficult to let it go.
I had a similar gift given to me by a friend. We both attended the same school and back then I was not fond of wearing skirts. I preferred gowns and mostly trousers.

The Autumn Journey Upward, Carried By "Amazing Grace," Reasons Illustrated by Haydn's "Rollend in schäumenden Wellen," with a Sweet Rarity In Between

On almost any day, the western approach to the top of my favorite hill looks like a fool's errand for a large woman like myself ... if "Only Up" were a local hill, it would be that western approach ... no rest spots to sit at, just block after block after block of up, with some ridiculously steep portions.
I have been sizing it up for two years ... there is an indirect western approach that knocks off some of the steepness, but adds time and distance with no real rest spots ... one has to be in a particular state of mind to even consider it seriously, or in need of an extreme effort to remain in mind.
