OCD's support is expanding!
Hello everyone! This is the 1936th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.
This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.
How this Works
OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.
This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

It's already February, and one month was gone from the year😬. Greetings everyone. I hope you're all doing great. We plan to visit the flower dome in the gardens by the bay. We haven't been there before and just seen it in my newsfeed shared by some friends who went there. One friend suggests to go there and said the ticket is cheap, only 12$, in Singapore. After we alighted from MRT, we walked the way heading to Flower Dome ( it's far and maybe a 15-minute walk). The sun is shining bright, but we don't care about it, thinking that inside that attraction is fully air conditioned😌. But Of course I take out my umbrella to shed myself from the sun.

A mother's self-denial can make her forget about herself: giving what she doesn't have for that being, stopping feeding herself to give that sustenance to her child. Hive Open Mic wk#251, for this week's theme "High School" I'll be doing a song from the movie "Pitch Perfect titled Cups" . When I saw this week's theme, this was the first song that came to my mind, but then I felt it wasn't good enough so I began my search for a song that goes in line with the theme. After so much finding, this song was still on my mind because for me, a theme is more than just a theme but a personal reflection. We don't really have to sing a song that has the word high school in it. However the theme of the week resonates with you, flow with it.*

For this practice and using the grid technique, I transferred a small image to a large format, that is, the image of the lion was printed on an A4 sheet and I transferred it to a 30 x 40 sheet. This is done through the following formula:In my case, I divided the width of the large sheet, 30 cm by the width of the A4 sheet, 21 cm. The result was 1.42. Then, I repeated the process, but with the length of the large sheet, 40 by the length of the A4 sheet, 29.5. The result was 1.35. Next, I took the measurement I used for the grids I made on the A4 sheet, 2 cm and multiplied it by the smaller result of the division, 1.42 and this gave me 2.84. Which means that the size of the grids I used on the large sheet was 2.5 because I rounded down. This is the formula for transferring a small image to a larger format.

After a tiring activity in school, I asked my wife today about going to Our Lady of Good Remedy Parish-Odlot, Bogo City, to attend the Eucharistic Healing, which happened only on every first Saturday of the month. She agreed to it, and I told her that we'll go together with the kids. So, here's our simple family day, and I hope you can find time to read this.

I've always loved the combination of rice and fried plantains, but I wanted to try something that is a bit different this time. Instead of serving them separately, I decided to include ripe plantain cubes directly into my jollof rice. And since we had some leftover ripe plantains, it was the perfect opportunity to experiment with a simple yet flavorful twist on a classic dish. Using a few available ingredients, I created this colorful and delicious meal. I'll share how I made it in this post. I'll start by listing the ingredients and their quantities.
