OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1975th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Tentaciones Ocultas de los Centros Comerciales || Shopping Center [Esp/Eng]

I must say that I always found it a waste of time to go to the supermarket. I never enjoyed it and when I did go, it was out of necessity. That's why Zuni almost always goes alone or with our children. But for some time now I try to be more companions in the domestic chores and go shopping together, it is almost habitual. As human beings are creatures of habit, I can say that step by step, I am enjoying it. And in these journeys, questions arise for me about: Shopping Centers.

From the last time I went to a party! [EN]//[ES]

Happy Thursday of memories! I hope you are very well, looking through my saved pictures I came across a couple of images that brought me so many memories, and in general not very pleasant, because these are from the last day I went to a disco, it was in 2014, ending November, my partner at that time, was, or still is, I don't know, DJ, so attending this kind of parties was something common for me, in fact I loved doing it, being on stage watching how the dj's made their mixes and people went crazy when a classic or a good trendy song was playing, By that time we were looking at the option of moving to my town, since we lived in San Antonio de los Altos, and for that, he had to find a source of income, I already had a secure job at that time, so, becoming a resident DJ of the then disco in town, was a good idea, and that's what he was looking for, he had been invited a couple of times before to that disco and the truth is that it was a quiet and nice place, quite selective in its clientele.

Unique Steamed Mountain Rice

I have often eaten this cone-shaped rice in various places when I was on a culinary tour. Not all restaurants want to serve rice in a unique shape, even though I think a unique presentation of rice can attract customers.

Simple dessert: Pudin flavored/ Postre simple: pudin saborizado (ENG-ESP)

It starts the weekend and it is a pleasure for me to reach this space for the first time, in a way, say, "sweet."And I would like to share the recipe for a homemade dessert, very simple to prepare but delicious without a doubt. This is Cuban Pudin, a popular dessert because its ingredients are common in our pantries and, therefore, it is not an exclusive dessert "haute cuisine."

In a few days my papaya plants will start to flower, I can't wait to try these fruits

Hello friends, it is a pleasure to be here again, to talk to you a little about my papaya crops, I TELL YOU that in November of last year my wife bought two papaya fruits at the supermarket, the truth is that when we cut one of them, we realized that its color was wonderful, it had a reddish color and besides that, when we tasted it it was quite sweet, so my wife told me that she wanted to collect those seeds to plant them, the truth is that my wife had a good idea, so the following week when we arrived at the farm the first thing I did was the seedbeds to germinate those papaya seeds Yes, friends, the truth is that my wife and I were delighted with the flavor of the papaya we bought at the supermarket, so we decided to collect those seeds to try to propagate that variety. I believe it's the "Red Lady Papaya." I germinated the seeds in plastic bags; those bags are sold exclusively for plants:

Fragrance of the very breath of spring!

Somewhere in the grass beneath your feet are those dainty little smiles that confirm the arrival of spring!

I was there!!

But leaving politics aside, from my point of view....and I dare say that from the point of view of almost all of us who attended, it was a historical cultural event that we could not miss. It would hardly be repeated, so we had to go 😆.

They said it would never grow back and nature taught us a lesson!

About a year ago they made the decision to cut down almost completely a kaki tree because it bothered some of my family and nobody wanted to take care of it or prune it, also because it was infested with ants and well, I could not reach it, it was too high, so to avoid further conflicts they made the drastic decision to cut it down, but they did not remove it completely, a small trunk with two openings remained and those who pruned it told us that it would never bloom again, what do you think happened?

Face to face || Monomad

Hello friends of black and white and photography in general. A few blocks away are two faces in the middle of Havana's Malecon promenade. One has been there for several years now and the other only for a few months, on the occasion of the 15th Havana Biennial. It is an almost close encounter between the work of two artists from different times. The woman's face, masterfully made in iron and with an extraordinary technique, is already common among the locals. Every time I pass by, I stop to look at her, and there is always something new to appreciate in this work, I don't know, a new angle, another perspective. The truth never ceases to amaze me. Its sad and serious expression is very well achieved, in spite of how complicated it is to give shape to small strips of iron. This is a great work!

A Dream Come True: Strawberry Chocolate Cake with Butterscotch Filling, Chocolate Ganache, and Fresh Strawberries – A Sweet Treat for a Sweet Tooth!

My daughter had been dreaming of eating a strawberry chocolate cake with strawberry and butterscotch filling, chocolate ganache dripping over it, and fresh strawberries on top. She envisioned it all on her own, and I thought, why not make it real and treat her on her birthday today?
