OCD's support is expanding!
Hello everyone! This is the 2116th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.
This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.
How this Works
OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.
This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Since we didn’t have power yesterday, my older sister invited me to go with her because she was planning to travel with her son, my 5-month-old nephew. She chose SM City Urdaneta since it’s the nearest good place to visit. It was my nephew’s first mall experience, so I agreed to come along. Besides, I didn’t have anyone to be with at home, and being stuck there for 13 hours with no electricity would’ve been so boring.

Beneath the noise of the city, I walked the center of Valencia and felt as if time had deliberately stopped at its most merciless hour. Poverty here is not hidden in alleyways or tucked behind closed doors, it is sprawled openly on the sidewalks, confronting anyone willing to look. A man sleeping on the ground clutches his dog as if it were his last thread to dignity. His sneakers are torn, his body is folded into the concrete, and still, some would call this scene “moving” or “poetic.” But I cannot, and I will not. There is nothing noble in being forced to sleep on a street, nothing “inspiring” about sharing scraps of warmth with a stray animal. To portray this as resilience is to betray the truth. Poverty is not art. It is a wound, untreated and reopened each day.

Time flies really fast. It's amazing to think that our beloved Ladies of Hive community is already on its 5th anniversary! 🌷 I am truly grateful that I am part of this wonderful family 💖 Even though I’ve been here only for just around three months as per my first blog, I’ve actually been here for what feels like an eternity longer than that. And I think starting this "Introvert Talks" weekly post has given me an outlet to talk about things that are more personal, be it bad days at work, little achievements in my fitness, or even if how I got sick and recovered. It adds me a bit more colour to who I am, even though I might not be comfortable to share a photo of myself yet, or people might think I am travelling and playing Splinterlands full time when they look at my posts. I do have a stressful day job, you know? Haha. Other than sleeping, it takes away a huge bulk of my time but as we all know, we all need income to live our lives and pay our bills.

It's incredible how such a simple melody manages to convey so much.

We both were on fast that day. Feeling of home swirled across heart and mind. Deep down, I was missing home. If you ask, what specifically, I was missing? It takes everyone's to heaven when we take one bite of mother's made food item.

He was given two cakes, one chocolate and one vanilla, both beautifully decorated. Each group brought snacks to share. The birthday boy, seeing such a noble gesture from everyone, was overjoyed and surprised. He never imagined we would do this. He thanked us for being so kind as to prepare such a surprise, as it was his actual birthday party; at home, they hadn't prepared anything for him due to various circumstances. Navarro decided to change the dynamics of the dance therapy; we started a single session, and we spent the remaining time celebrating and enjoying his birthday. Each snack was handed out, while we danced energetically and disorderly. There were recreational activities led by the birthday boy. When we got tired, we sat on the wall and chatted pleasantly until we regained our energy, then continued the merriment 😁. When the party starts, you have to enjoy it 🤭, we are cheerful by nature.
