Our elder sister was able to purchase a piece of land. It’s not very large, but it’s quite spacious. After buying it, she planned to plant fruit trees. However, several months have already passed and we still haven’t planted any because we couldn’t find available fruit tree seedlings near our place.

Greetings Hive friends, warm greetings and a hug, I hope you are well on this day, almost the end of February and without realizing it the days are passing very quickly, today I am happy to share a new creative idea, inspired by one of the cards from the Splinterlands game.

Tomorrow marks the end of this semester, which has given me many headaches. So today, to clear my mind a little, I wanted to play Guns Up for a while. And it turns out that I realized that this season, it's not just about that character I talked about a little while ago who wears a yellow suit, but that it's shared with another character.

A few weeks ago, I read a review of the film Runaway. I remembered seeing it, but what I remember most was the context in which I saw it rather than the story itself. Many years have passed since then. Runaway is from 2017, and at that time, I had a boyfriend who had been courting me for a long time. We had grown apart before, but he wanted to try again in a different way.

World War II, one of the most horrific episodes in human history, is also an inexhaustible source of stories for literature and film. More than 80 years have passed since the war ended, and yet, year after year, productions continue to appear that recount little-known events from those years or revisit some of the most famous episodes with a fresh perspective. And since it's a subject that continues to sell and capture people's interest, we can expect this trend to continue.

I'm sorry for my lay-out, but I'm typing this one on my phone. My son won silver last week during a cooking competition. Again. This time at the Jeune Commis Rôtisseur competition. And gold for his main dish. That second silver medal is sitting on our kitchen counter next to the first one from Disciples d'Escoffier. Between those two competitions, there was back surgery. Recovery. The kind of uncertainty that comes when your body forces you to pause right when your career is taking off. But here he is. Back in the kitchen. Back on the podium. And when the press asked him about his plans after the ceremony, he didn't hesitate: I want to get Michelin stars in the future. Not maybe. Not if my back holds up. Not someday if things work out. Just a calm, clear statement of intent from someone who's learned exactly how strong he is. I almost lost it right there.

Hello everyone, my friends and fans of good stories! This time, I'm going to talk about a super interesting movie, I'm going to talk about Memory. Seriously, if you're only going to see one movie this month, it HAS to be this one. It's one of those films that sticks with you, but in the coolest way possible. Right from the start, it drops a question on you that leaves you thinking for a good while: What hurts more? To forget or to remember? I mean, with just that, you already have enough for a deep 3 a.m. conversation, right? Is it worse to carry that horrible memory that marked you forever, or the anguish of not recognizing the person you love, of having your own life erased? The movie doesn't just ask and leave it at that, no, it grabs you and throws you headfirst into experiencing it. The director is Michel Franco, and I know, I know… for many, he's one of those filmmakers you either love or just can't stand. To be honest, sometimes I like his work and sometimes not so much, but let me tell you something: with Memory, wow! I feel like he finally nailed it. He took that indie film sensibility he has, mixed it into this US-Mexico co-production with Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard, and created what is, for me, easily his best film to date. It feels like he set aside that sometimes pretentious vibe he gets criticized for and just focused on telling a profoundly human story. So, what's it about?

f you find yourself in Sintra, don't rush to the main sights — take some time to wander the streets. The palaces will wait, and the town will show you everything itself.

This year, a “class action” case came to my office that may end up in court... we'll see. That's how it should be, and there are people who should pay for the continued abuse of others in vulnerable situations. Since life is anything but fair, it is very likely that this will come to nothing and that the perpetrators will continue to hold their positions of responsibility. As the case is ongoing, I will say no more, except that in this notebook I have collected the testimony of the abuse of some 15 women who, when they suffered this aggression, were homeless and had young children in their care.

I suppose, @mipiano, that you’re already awake—perhaps working, or preparing something for a class or a piano recital... or maybe you’re resting... I don’t know... and it doesn’t really matter.
I just wanted to wish you a great day. 😀
