Other Niche Communities Curation Report #256

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 256th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Panettone I

The scarlet cashmere sweater and blue jeans I wore hugged my body comfortably, giving me a sense of rightness and warmth in the mildly cold weather. Winter is over and spring is almost here. I pull on my thick brown coat and draw up the collar to cover my neck.

(ESP/ENG) Participación en el concurso de arte callejero de CCC #61: Los colores de la música / Participation in the street art contest of CCC # 61: The colors of music

Hello to all lovers of urban art! Today I come to show you another mural from the region where I live. It is located in an area, arguably a bit touristy, in the city of Barquisimeto in Venezuela. Apparently, it was made by 4 edges: Gaspar19, Orlando, Jorge Bogado and I think the other is called Karlos Karte, it cannot be distinguished well because the painting has dropped a bit. I do not know in what time it was made. Although it was surely for 2019.

My savoury Sweet Potato entry for The Plant Based Challenge 👨🏿‍🍳 Week #29 👩‍🍳

I hope that you're all well- and infact, I'm sure that you are doing so much better than the carnivores out there, even if it may not be physically, because eating clean like we do does reduce the susceptibility, the amount and severity of illnesses out there, but unfortunately we are all still beholden to our genetic makeup, in sickness and in health, until death us do depart...So atleast we feel healthier in our hearts, lighter in our souls and satisfied in our spirits knowing that we do not contribute to animal exploitation and sickening cruelty.

Autumn is here

The temperature are dropping and the days are shorter it's rains more. There's almost nothing better than walking through the falling leaves.

Dibujo #3: ánade real [ESP/ENG]

My goal is to improve every day, try new things, set myself challenges and try to overcome them. I remember the first drawing I did was an owl, then I did a panda bear. Both drawings were similar to children's fairy tale characters, chubby and with huge eyes.

SPOT THE BABY SUNBIRD?!!!!!

Seeing that teeny tiny little beak stretched wide in hungry anticipation is one of the most jaw dropping sights I can remember seeing. For two weeks I have checked on the little Sunbird mama a few dozen times a day. For two weeks the tiny Malachite Sunbird mama has patiently peeked out of her lofty nest in the cactus. From my research I've learned that the hatchling rate of Sunbird babies is only 20%. While ever hopeful I was uncertain that I (and the little Sunbird mama) would ever see the tiny eggs hatch .....

Engage the Weekend : French Food Saturday

Last weekend's #engagetheweekend adventure was all about experiencing Oktoberfest. That included a Maple Leaf Parade, some old (drunk?) guy singing like Lennon, brats, and maybe just a little bit of Fest Bier for me. This past weekend we decided to try a bakery in our downtown for the first time as a family. So on our bikes we hopped yet again for a ride to check out a French-themed cafe/bakery...and so the fun began.

Traveling and seeing the majesty of the plants gives me a sense of empowerment (Esp-Eng)

It is my first publication for this community, I was caught to see beautiful publications, full of many colors, beautiful gardens and users full of great human quality. I hope you like my material. Today I bring you beautiful plants, some of them make me remember my grandmother's care, that dedication of hours to keep her plants beautiful and give that share of love to the environment. Below I leave several plants of different colors: purple that transforms, red that fills us with passion, pink that makes us feel sensuality, white purity, green that invites us to healing and hope. Yellow makes us smile and orange gives us security

The Road Looks Like A Zoo / Mountain View Animals Statue 😊
