Other Niche Communities Curation Report #314

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 314th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

🍡My first experience making fruit candy🍡

Today I made some sweet treats. Today I made is some fruit candy. When Covid-19 was bad, I saw on Facebook that many food vloggers made fruit candy and ate it while staying home. They make fruit candy mainly from fruits and sugars such as strawberry, grapes, apples. I have also seen some food vloggers make and eat vegetables with sugar. The vegetables they use are vegetable like chili, garlic, ginger. Ever since I saw how they made fruit candy, I have wanted to try that fruit candy. But I did not do it at the time because I thought it was a little difficult to make that fruit candy. However, I will share with you how to do it today as it is very easy to do when I try it out today.

2001 Ford Excursion Front Axle Rebuild ~ Part 4 ~ Upper/Lower Ball Joint Replacement

Welcome back to my 2001 Ford Excursion Front Axle Rebuild series. This time I’m gonna tackle the fun task of replacing upper and lower ball joints. These would be relatively easy to do if you didn’t have to basically disassemble the whole axle in order to get to them. No wonder mechanics shop charge over $2,000 usd to change them. I would much rather bust a few knuckles and get some grease under my fingernails, than pay that. Well let’s dive into process of replacing ball joints shall we?

Late Autumn Vacation Part 1

After several very challenging and mentally exhausting adventures in the mountain, it was about time I take a long due vacation astray from adrenaline and threatening situations.

Me and a Friend of mine decided to go near the mountains but at the outskirts and just enjoy a few days of fresh air and SPA therapy.

At the Birds of Prey Show in Mayerhofen

In summer 2018 I visited a Show of Birds of Prey at the Adlerbühne Ahorn in Mayerhofen, it was a fantastic show with these very beautiful birds. And it is probably the bird show that has the highest altitude here in Austria. Sad that I wasn't able to see these kind of birds in the real nature outside but still it was very beautiful with these captured birds of the show. Of course I prefer wildlife but shy and seldom birds like these are very very difficult to find and photograph. And of course in Austria there are only a few place where they can be found. In my opinion Owls are very beautiful birds and I am always happy when I see one. I know some places where I can find some long-eared owls but they are a 3 hour drive from my home.

A Sweet Super Rare Find & 3 More Curb-Salvaged Items Saved & Sold For $229 Revenue (16+ Pounds)

I'd found about $250 of stuff before, but nothing exciting. Often enough, the end of a walk usually rewards my extra hustle in the elements with a "sign" that I did my job. This helps me feel less crazy for walking outside in the middle of the night in the cold to pursue a good cause.

An interesting walk to the old gas station and Veruda marina

The day was beautiful and I used it for a long and even interesting walk for me and where I found goats, anchors, a cannon and of course a big old gas stove from 1912.

Pearls before Breakfast - Can we still Recognize Beauty? |EN/ES|

The experiment is simple: one of the most talented violinist players in the world will play as a street musician on a very busy crowded subway station. He will use a very rare, ancient, expensive instrument. He will play for money as any other street artist. Now, the experiment consist in finding out how many people actually stop and enjoy his performance. It is a 1000$ per seat performance on famous theaters, but there, on the subway, it will be for free. Your job is to predict the outcome of this experiment, will people stop? will some give money to the artist? will they stay listening? if so, for how long? will they ignore this musician and keep on their way? what will happen?

"First Snow Day 初雪"

It was snowing yesterday. The first heavy snow in Nova Scotia, Canada. Everything was white and still is. Usually, the first snow is very pure and clarifies the energy and the air. That's why I love fresh snow. I don't like the cold icy rain before the snow. However, this snow is probably going to melt someday soon before the stable snowfall season. I went for a walk with my dog and with my husband when we had a break time. My dog couldn't go walking the day before yesterday because of the rainstorm. He looked satisfied and extra happy in the snow. He loves snow very much.
