OCD's support is expanding!
Hello everyone! This is the 773rd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.
This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.
How this Works
OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.
This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

First of all because the marketing: a nice label, allthough I wouldn’t tend to make the label so full and “busy” with different styles and colours. Also the bottle, which was in a size and shape I’m not used to, was attracting me. When I started to read the label it was the Pineapple flavour that has wakened my curiousity in a way I couldn’t resist to buy a bottle of this beer. Who actually could when reading “THIS FULL FLAVOURED ALE HAS A NOSE OF PINEAPPLE AND TROPICAL CITRUS THAT COMES FROM THE CASCADE AND MOSAIC HOP VARIETIES. ITS LIGHT BISCUIT MALT AND CLEAN LASTING BITTERNESS WILL BE A TALKING POINT LONG AFTER THIS BOTTLE IS EMPTY.” Wow, if this beer tasts only half like it reads, it will be a great experience!

Today this post is a little different. It's about growing daffodils. The setting is the family home where my parents live (across the ditch in NZ). This year, my mum donated hundreds of daffodils to the local cancer council so they could be sold and the profits went to cancer research.

Why am I building this set from 1979 so many years later? Well Lego have updated it and re-released it for their 90th birthday so as I'll be building that shortly I thought it was time to search through so very old pieces of Lego which I've owned since I was a child, look up from instructions on the internet and set about rebuilding the original set.

One of those things that I've been trying to figure out how to get better at is starting fires without the use of a lighter. With this in mind, I've been experimenting with different flint and steel setups. I know there are some that are incredibly versatile and handy such as the ones that you can punch it down and it's all encased in one unit. The Outdoor Boys on YouTube often use this style and I know it's incredibly helpful and easy to have that. I'm also a bit stubborn in that I want to learn from the basics before I make advancements!
