Do Not Under Rate Nigerian Influence! Nigerians Are Not Just Bloggers, We Are Investors On Steem Project As Well!

in #nigeria7 years ago

Steemitizens, greetings...

If there be a group of people who show doggedness and resilience in difficult situations...if there be a group of people who will work genuinely for the success of a cause they believe in...who are ready to sacrifice their resources, roll their sleeves and soil their hands just to ensure that a project they have interest in becomes a success, enabling them to make decent profits on their investments... If there ever be such a group of people, Nigerians must be counted among!

To those who think Nigerians are on Steemit to blog and share from the proceeds of the reward pool, think again. Of course, Nigerians are here to share in the reward pool, like every other group, but not necessarily as bloggers, because a lot of Nigerians who joined as bloggers have become real and seasoned investors. And this list is increasing every day.

I know this development is going to usher in a new era of growth for steem blockchain. For a people who doggedly built a billion-dollar entertainment industry — Nollywood — without receiving minutest support from the government, contributing immensely to the success of steem ecosystem, would certainly be a work-over for them, since they have track records of having done similar things in the past.

Joining as bloggers is part of Nigerian strategy to test the waters first...

Nigerians have come a long way in business world. A typical Nigerian would not just rush into a program he has no clue about. It is like a national norm to test the waters first by participating as a blogger to have a real life experience of what the program can offer before showing their true colors. This has been a part of typical Nigerian's approach to schemes. It is in fact a national credo.

When the defunct ponzi scheme — MMM — was first brought to Nigeria and was being promoted as most profitable investment scheme. Nigerians responded by investing small amounts (like $30, $50 and $100), initially. When it appeared the scheme was legit, the news went vital, attracting the interest of Nigeria money-bags, leading to some persons (pastors, politicians, even some banks) investing as much as $100000 in a single month. Unfortunately, the scheme, being a ponzi, suddenly died a natural death, leaving the people heartbroken with many cases of suicide.

Lots of people I have the privilege of bringing into this scheme are no more blogging today, but stockpiling sbd and steem. With massive steemivangelism going on all over Nigeria, it is like steem has gotten to the threshold of being totally accepted by Nigeria masses. People are emptying their bank savings into steem cryptocurrency. Hence, I have no doubt Nigeria will play a major in the success of steem ecosystem.

Our Steemivangelism efforts are bringing investors onboard

Lots of steem to fiat (Naira) exchanges opening up daily are a pointer to increasing Nigeria interest on steem ecosystem

Nigerians are a business oriented people. They spot opportunities easily and position themselves in order to profit maximally. Currently, there seem to be proliferation of direct steem-to-naira exchanges in Nigeria. From @airhawk-exchange, to @olamax exchange, to @steemfuse exchange, to @steemexchange, the list is increasing by the day. And this is enough to signal to whomever it may concern that steem price is set to moon as Nigeria investors are gradually coming onboard, following massive awareness by Nigeria promoters. Today, many Steemian Nigerians are exchanging their steem into national currency, Naira, bypassing bitcoin and ethereum in the process.

Nigerians are blind investors and this will be good for steem ecosystem

Nigerians hardly listen to their government and certainly not a newsfreak kind of people. They hardly listen to warnings from relevant agencies. Because, in this part of the world, government as an institution is a colossal failure. Hence, a typical Nigerian has no business listening to whatever the government has to say. To them, they are all LIES. This explains why many fell victim to many ponzi schemes in the past. If I could remember rightly, relevant agencies, then, released statements severally, advising citizens against investing in ponzi schemes. Such statements were taken with a pinch of salt by the Nigeria public who distrust the government greatly. Eventually, a lot of people would have their fingers to bite as the ponzi schemes disappeared into the thin air with public funds.

The above scenario would favor steem ecosystem because, once Nigerians start investing, it will be total and absolute. And since steem is no scam, such investments will certainly favor all of us.

Conclusion

Do not under rate Nigerians. They are a people with spirit of let's get it done. They have done it with bitcoin. Today, Nigeria is among the top bitcoin holding countries. Doubt me? Visit localbitcoin, remitano, luno and other exchanges that are domiciled in Nigeria and check the volume of transaction taking place there. This can well be replicated in steem ecosystem. All that's needed is massive publicity which is already taking place in Nigeria. To that extent, let's continue to Steemivangelise. Thanks for reading.

Yours truly,

Yeah i am aware of Nigerian investors. They are big investors in crypto :)

✌️✌️

I believe that too and I see many of them putting effort in promoting and inviting others to join as well. They do meet ups and stuff. They do make a lot of noise about it because of their belief in the potential of steemit. Cheers!

Notice na bedrock of steem blockchain. You make noise to attract others and without it no one comes

Great Nigerians!!!

Nigerians are highly spirited individuals who believes no storm without rain and are always ready to take chances in trying new things.
I commend the effort of well meaning Nigerians for making conversion of SBD to Naira very easy.
Like you clearly stated, after been dealt with ponzi scheme. Blogging is the first method of testing how deep the water is, with one leg.

Truly we are blind investors, but what does the government even have to say. No one wants to listen to their crap

Hahahahaha...

@eurogee

You couldn't have said it any better. The average Nigerian has the potential to be as rich as Dangote's because of the die hard spirit and the refusal to be the last. There's always that feeling that if anyone can do it, they can
I'm proud to be a Nigerian because of this fact.
