Yes it was easy, I just used luno wallet and buy direct from my bank but the charge was too much and I believe buying Steem then convert to bitcoin on bittrex or blocktrade is easier.
- I have never bought Steem directly by myself using my local fiat. But I have several traders I do give my fiat to so they buy the crypto and send to my wallet. But I think I can use escrow service and buy it easily.
