From the Pöstlingberg in Linz / Urfahr and from the Pfenningberg you have a very nice view over the city of Linz. At night you can see the beautiful lights from the city underneath and I really enjoy watching and listening to the vibrant city. From the spots I mentioned you can still hear the car noises and the motorway but only like a "white noise". And this is something that lets me relax, knowing that the world still exist and being able to close the eyes and just listen. I think everybody needs a spot like this.
Thankfully there are nearly in every city some spots where you can watch over the city and take some nice pictures from above. I know several spots in Linz and I also know some in Vienna.

To get some really nice pictures you need to be there during the blue hour, right after sunset. So you can have a blue sky above the city from the twilight. Some years ago in summer I did several of these night photography trips to a hill around Linz and took several nice pictures from the city at night.

This are cool pictures
The only thing in Linz I know is the main station - I changed trains there some years ago on my way to a camping vacation nearby. But it looks magical on your photo!
Thanks a lot. Yes although it is a City with a lot of Industry, if you live on one of the hills outside of Linz it is magical. But i have to admit i hate the traffic jams every day because of the lack of bridges over the danube. They are simply to less to handle the traffic, now during Covid19 time it was much better but i am already again loosing an hour a day in the traffic jam. :-(
