How often do you go to your cabin every year? I wish I could buy some small place in the Alps one of these days (this is however not the priority).

I try to go at least 3 times each year. Once around Christmas, once for Easter and once during summer. But that's because I now live on a different side of Norway (Oslo) compared to my parents (Stavanger), so that limit how often I end up going as I have to take a plane (or drive 7 hours) to get there. Back when I lived in Stavanger I would go there maybe 15-20 times each year.
I assume that there is no train option in Norway, isn't it? Sorry for the silly question, but I really do not know Norway.
