I thought long and hard about this principle last night.
Why? Because my last article made next to nothing. So I started to question my own motives.
Am I only here to value myself against votes? No.
Am I only worth the votes I get? Hell no.
is my motivation for being here money and influence? No. If it was I would and could buy a million Hive power.
And so I stayed awake in my bed thinking why I was so upset about getting a badly voted post.
Then it struck me, slapped me in the face. I do not care.
I went to see my daughter in town today. She gave me a lecture. Says I am always on the pc. I do not play enough with her.
Her and my partner are town bound as she now has to zoom her lessons online due to the third mythical wave.
at this rate she will be lucky to have a job next year as most of the parents of students have pulled their children out.

Like anyone else I have feelings. Sometimes I am high sometimes I am low and sometimes in the middle.
It always amazes me how people respond to the low.
It is like they expect and only ever want the high you without question.
Well we are all real with feelings and they work in a number of ways.
Another thing my daughter told me off about was talking about the current political situation or the world too much.
On that I am guilty as charged. So I shall shut my big fat gob.

It seems your post must have some value as a few people were highly upset by it, upset enough to down vote it. If one wants to look at votes it is the down votes that are the most telling, not the up votes, because with the down votes you know you hit someones's button.
