Jungle "Busy Earnin"
Sometimes a track hits you and you think: "Damn. I could jam to this for YEARS!"
Its not new (released 2014), but there's something about this track that beautifully captures an old school funk / disco sound but still manages to make it relevant to today's market. I watched these guys live at Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town, in the pouring rain, and it was a soul-lifting experience. The vocalists sang their octave parts perfectly, hardly ever out of tune with each other, and the band grooved hard. The only thing that bugged me was the lack of brass section live.
Their debut, and only album to date, title "Jungle" is well worth a listen from beginning to end. Then well worth another listen. And again.
Just do it.
