- This crime report comes from 2010. Even the 7 years passed by, it still reminds us how easily the life can be lost.
While a mother went to an upper floor of a house/apartment her 8 year old daughter remained in bed asleep. When the mother returned a short time later the doors were locked. She called out to her daughter but could only hear faint sounds. Soon the door opened and there the young girl lay in a pool of blood and bleeding from a number of stab wounds. She was rushed to hospital.
Turns out that a burglar had entered the unit looking for money to steal. The 8 year old woke up and he stabbed her several times. He thought she was dead but the girl began to move again so he started to stab her again, repeatedly, until she stopped moving.
In total the burglar had stabbed the girl 35 x's; on just one hand she received 9 defensive wounds. Within hours a 15 year old boy, who was known to the family and who lived close by was arrested and charged. Miraculously, the 8 year old girl survived the attack.
