Indeed it is, it is actually a "packaged" VIT token. VIT is the native token with its own blockchain on touch.tube and touchit.social and can be converted into VITP to be used on the Steem Engine powered website of vit.global. Have a look on vit.global which you can access with your Steem password to get an idea what VIT/VITP is all about :)
