Portrait oil

ntopaz-image-0Since I tried to paint in oils, I wanted to repeat it again. Therefore, when @fourapril presented me the necessary supplies and paints a week ago, nothing more could stop me. To begin with, I decided to paint his portrait.

This time the colors were different from previous ones, they were very bright and very cool mixed with each other. But at the time of the sketch I got it dirty and was afraid that the drawing would not work. Despite this, I decided to draw to the end. To my surprise, I liked drawing more than last time. There was a feeling that I sculpted a drawing of plasticine. First, the base, then added plasticity and volume. Very cool feeling :)

In total, it took me 14 hours to draw an a5 format picture. Of course, I could continue to improve it endlessly, but at this stage I was pleased with the result and decided to stop :) From now on, it is my love to paint in oils.

Very nice oil portrait of @fourapril, @kurokikuro :) I think you're handling the medium really well :D I like how you blended the skin tone, specially around the eyes, as it gives a fleshy feelings with the pink hues <3

I look forward to seeing more oils from you in the future, for sure :)
