Another artist I would like to share with you today for @nTOPAZ Talent Curation contest, is Charmaine Olivia. She is also one among many artists I've admired and been inspired by for years.
Highly influenced by her own inner experience of spiritualism and mysticism, her oil painting portraits are ethereal and almost divine-like, as you can see from the images above. Her use of colours are bewitching, almost reflective of looking into a kaleidoscope. She finds her muse from friends, models or her own imaginations of spiritual goddesses in her mind.
As someone who loves psychedelic art and music, I find myself immensely drawn to her exploration of patterns and energy of colours. I find her way of seeing the world much like Vincent Van Gogh, who also took to the canvas to show what it was like to look at the world through his eyes.
Charmaine has exhibited her paintings in several galleries around the world and has worked for a variety of high profile clients, Lady Gaga being one of many. It goes without saying that her paintings are other-worldly, and I do not think enough people know of her art yet.

This is the work of artist Charmaine Olivia. The feeling of portraiture is mysterious, and it is a religious feeling. Colors seem to be complex, but they seem to be aligned and make you feel better. There are two eyes on each side, so there is a fear of seeing something, but it does not really feel that way. I applaud the curatorial work.
