Dungeon

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

Last week I got a cold, which delays the work of my a cappella cover even more. Since I'm still not well yet comes a new original song that doesn't require me to sing:

It's supposed to be used in a game during a boss battle, or in a dungeon (surprise! ^^). I've made it the same way as last week, through Sibelius, GXSCC and Audacity. It's also supposed to loop (therefore the abrupt end of the song).

I'm fascinated of the power of free form association, that is the ability to create things when nothing is really there. For instance: I know the origin of this picture (since I took it), but still I can't look at it without imagining the image of a ghost.

Again, I pixelized it in GIMP to amplify the feeling of a video game. ;-)

I could hear this in a video game fighting the boss. Did you ever play Everquest? That game had some really beautiful songs when you'd enter different places.

Hope you get well soon!

A working title I had for this song was 'The final boss man'. ;-)
Can't say I have. Never been an online player really, but I hear people like it. I'll take a look and listen to the music. ^^

Thanks @free-reign!
