Ever seen Squirry change color overnight? Now we have a black squirrel?
Descriptions of the photos are underneath each photo.
For those that do not know, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde were the same guy with two personalities.
Imagine our shock when a black Squirry appeared to plead for nuts. We knew that he was gray yesterday and today he was black.
Well I was totally confounded until thankfully I found the reason for his overnight change!
Have a look at the reason!
Yesterday he looked like this?
And today he looks like this!
How is this possible?
Here is the reason for his color change. They are replacing the old grass of a thatched roof and squirry forages in the old heaps for insects to eat.
This video will show you how squirry dodges an Egyptian goose in our garden!

The big head of a guy that was moon watching!
And of course he had his elephant with him!
The moon was indeed a lovely sight!
A human dragonfly was approaching the scene!
A Sacred Ibis bird family was on its way home!
The sun was also on its way home!
Some pigeons were having a late afternoon rest!
And finally the setting sun colored the mountain peaks!
And That's All Folks!
Yes indeed, we were confused, but so glad to find that the squirrel's color change was not natural. Imagine having a chameleon squirrel hahaha
But let me tell you that there are a lot of humans like this. What they tell you today is not the same as what they tell you tomorrow.
In our charity we often meet people like this. They promise today to help us by donating to our cause and tomorrow they all of a sudden have many excuses. I am sure that they also do this to their partners. What a life to go about with a worthless name. But I am not here to moan today, just to say that if you don't value your name, then you are lost.

That color change was dramatic, as at first we thought he was ill, but thankfully now he is back to his original gray colors.

We like to give back whenever we can JJ. I actually want to have a look at the tipu thing.

We get a mix of grey and black squirrels around here. It's a mutation, but I don't think they have special powers :)

That's a cute picture. Squirrels in some places are so used to people. I think they are pretty smart animals. I saw a documentary years ago where they learned how to get food from a very complex set of obstacles.
You know what you are talking about, as we often misjudge the intelligence of animals. To me personally the crow is the most intelligent. We have a nesting pair over here and the male continues to air bomb me because we feed the wild Egyptian geese and he thinks that I am on their side. hahaha

Hhhmm, perhaps he purposely altered his fur thinking you might feed him more. ;) They are pretty sneaky. Unless they're crossing the road. 😲 But this is too nice of a post to think about that. I really do need one of those cloud gazing days. Haven't done that in quite a while now.
Hahaha, a great comment and I see that he was in there again this morning, but thankfully not too black like the other day. The rain must have cleared some of the old dirt in the grass heap.
Clouds fascinate me and most of my daily shots are of clouds. And the moon of course.
It's gotten so bad that just by looking at the moon I can tell you the number of days when it will be a full moon. Lol

He was in there again this morning my friend. Thankfully the rain cleared most of the black soot out of the grass, so he was not as black.
We are so blessed to be close to the mountains, as they are my first love.
Regarding the empty lips people, we have learned to overcome the initial disappointment and now just go with the flow.
I don't hold it against them as it is just a wasted attempt at self importance.

Two years with never one response, so I decided to change it to tags where I get a regular daily response.
