In one town I had heard a legend that was passed from generation to generation for a few decades, usually it was just a local legend that you could not hear in other places apart from neighboring towns, the legend said that every 127 years, in the park area main town you could see strange shadows walking without explanation and that many times people disappeared at that time.
Those shadows were already part of the legends of the ancient natives who lived in the years prior to the conquest, and who supposedly left as a warning not to go to that area on the nights of the anniversary year. The reality is that there was not much information about it, the legend in part gave some curiosity to the most daring because a few years ago with my group of friends at school we made imaginary plans about going to see the strange shadows and take a photo like fun but that happened when we were just elementary school kids, today those plans could come true.
This happened when I was 15 years old and had finished school together with my friends, this year was supposed to be the anniversary for the anomaly of the legend. It had been 127 years since the last shadow sighting record.

My group of friends consisted of a group of 5 people, including Alexa.
The others were José, older than me by 2 years, he was like a brother to me; Juliana and Carlos, who had been a couple since high school, we got along well since elementary school and we were the same age.
My friends and I didn't really have it planned at all, it would just be a go, look and come back in a few words, the reason for this is a bit complex, Before when we were still children we could safely believe in the legend we even investigated about the missing persons and the stories of the ancient indigenous people of the area; It was a hobby we had for months in elementary and middle school, but now it was not the same.
Perhaps it is due to the fact that we have matured or we simply did not feel passionate about it as before but this was something that had to happen sooner or later.
The only thing that motivates me to continue and created that my friends are also the morbid and boredom of knowing what happens in this place. Something that happens every 127 years ... that was more than any of us will ever live, and I was not going to miss the opportunity.
