Remembering last year's Germany visit, I share you my visit to Spa, Belgium.
After multiple thoughts on whether I should spend 100s of Euros to visit Formula 1 which I have watched on TV ever since 2005, I decided I will spend some money and go to the event. Tickets were one thing, but getting from Dusseldorf to Spa was a whole other adventure. Luckily there was a shuttle bus service from Dusseldorf to Spa early in the morning like at 6am.

I was lucky enough to spot my favorite driver Sebastian Vettel who was going in a scooter towards the track, and also waved a 'hi' to Charles Leclerc as he drove over a bridge to the track, I was so excited to see them that I forgot to take a photo, but it was fine.
Long walks are a part of viewing the circuit,
This is the general admission area, people buy tickets but dont have an assigned seat so they bring their own seat and settle and park their camp chairs and beer boxes.
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit looks beautiful against the morning sun,
After years of seeing the track on sim racers, It was an unreal feeling to see them live in front of me,
Lots of Red Bull fans, as Netherlands is very close to Belgium, many Dutch fans make it to this race to support their hero Max Verstappen,

The Eau Rouge turn, was surprised to see how steep it actually is in real,
Watching the race on race day with a Japanese friend, Masaki or Max as he likes to be called,
Getting to other parts of the circuit needs us to walk through these mini forests,
After the race is over , we get to walk over the track and get a real feel of it, it was pure awesome :)

The Mercedes pit area, which had the highest fans trying to get a snap.
Unfortunately my happiness was overshadowed by an accident in which a French young driver , driving for an F2 team, crashed and sadly died on saturday. Rest in peace Anthoine Hubert. On the track his family was present and on Sunday a 2 minute silence was done to honour him.
