Digital Portrait of Our Former Advicer
Greetings everyone, hope you are doing well.
I want to share my digital artwork again. This is for my former teacher back when I was in grade 10 level.
I posted my recent digital portraits in Facebook. I doubt myself to accept commissions because I am not a pro. I may have already been painting semi realistic and made some good result, but sometimes I can't make a good one. When I was on art block stage, I feel like all of the process was complicated and I am not able to finish it, I do not have the energy to paint because I don't know how to start and I feel like I just lost the interest of doing it. So when that happens, I just stop for a while and wait until my energy comes back.
When my teacher saw the post where I dropped my arts, he messaged me and asked for me to draw him. So this is what I made for him.
I painted on ibis paint x application. I picked the color on the reference picture.
When painting the face, neck and hand, I used pen fade for base, then later on I used airbrush (normal) for blending the colors. I used color pick for choosing colors.
When painting the hair, I used the round brush (point).
While on the suit and slacks, I used felt tip pen and airbrush for shadows and some highlights.
Those are the consecutive work in progress photos and the finished result of the digital portrait.
I already have a five pieces of digital artworks, the one I made for both of my grandparents, the portrait of Marian Rivera, for my sister and for my teacher.
So that is all what I can share for today. I will be back again when I have made another art portraits. Thank you so much for lending your time to read my blog.
