OCD DAILY - Issue #140

Welcome to the 140th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #140 highlights content from ten (10) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues it's search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators, under our fearless leader, @acidyo, have found you ten new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are provided by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to help provide that audience, and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @jasonbu

Our first nomination of the day brings us a masterfully written story, to say the least. We follow the day of Glen Hubert, a high-school student that definilty went through some mind boggling moments. He suddenly wakes up in the middle of his class, having no memory of what happened. Drenched in sweat, and slightly shaking, he stumbled upon some drawings on his desk, that appereantly, were not made by him. Then, a man in a dark blue suit appeared like what seemed to be from nowhere, took the drawings then put them into a red folder, and suddenly dissapears. The teacher then shouts at Glen for not paying attention to her, being completely oblivious, as if absolutely nothing happened. After the class, our confused protagonist observes the elegantly dressed man, lurking in the shadows, along with another one dressed similar. Make sure to check out the rest, and see what happens afterwards, definitly worth a read. An awesome conspiracy story, truly deserves our top spot today.

Our next nomination of the day is from @cavilacion

Our second nomination, brings us yet another great piece of writting, this time being a philosophical one. Our author describes us, in very well placed words, how stupidity is promoted and followed by the people, instead of wiseness, knowledge and logical reasoning. "Ideas have a very sad value", he stated. I can't do anything, but entirely agree to his quote.

And the one that's closing the podium, our third nomination shows us the beautiful Asian country in Malaysia.
After a long time, our author decided to finally post once again, this time as he was on his business trip. He showcases photos that perfectly depict the beautiful Malaysian landscapes, architecture and culture, along a detailed description of everey tourist attraction shown.

Our fourth nomination, is from David, he just joined the Steemit community. Programming is one of the things he fell in love with, teaching himself this subject since he was fourteen. In his introduction post he tells a little bit more about himself, how he's going to contribute in this platform, what brought him here, and even more. Let's all give him a warm welcome.

And we're halfway through. Our fifth nomination is from a wonderer, and a great photographer as well. In his travel blog he documents the visit of Jiuzhaigou, a region in China. As I said, this post contains some extraordinary photographs followed by a well written description of them and his trip.

Our next nomination of the day is from @insideoutlet

In sixth place, we have a wonderful human being. Someone that inspired me, and most likely you as well, through her confindence, joy, and love of life. She's a new Steemian, and also a sufferer of Ulcerative Colitis. Because of this condition she requires a ileostomy, a bag that is attached to her abdomen and connect to the intestines, so in short, he internal residue is stored in there. This is her introduction post, and tells more about herself and her condition. What is truly amazing is that she goes through life like any other healthy person would do, not minding the ileostomy at all. This person deserves all of our respect, let's welcome her to this platform.

Our next nomination of the day is from @kevmcc

An astonishing piece of art, that's what comes in our seventh nomination. A rather morbid, yet beautiful drawing, done with just a few pencils.

Our next nomination of the day is from @thechosenwhan

Our eight nomination brings us an interesting article that focuses on psychology. It's about our ability to pay attention, and how the internet has made us do "attention economy". It also implies the idea that SAT's might make us smarter.

And our final nomination, shows us a day the life of this steemian. He photographs and describes himself and his workplace, a health food store. Looks like his enjoying his job, something that many people don't manage to do.
