OCD DAILY - Issue #216
Welcome to the 216st issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #216 highlights content from ten (10) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found ten new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The @OCD nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
Our top nomination of the day is from @harvardhomestead
If you’re even a bit interested into homesteading then, this post is perfect for you since the author is sharing his process into the world of making cheese with us and the problem she stumbled upon. Trying new things is never easy since you might fail a few times before accomplishing what you want, but you might end up with delicious results, like some homemade cheese.

No Fear of Cheese Failure

Our next nomination of the day is from @rubencress
This user is telling his impressive story of how he went from knowing nothing about taking pictures, to being a recognized photographer in his country. Only now, after 12 years of hard work, experiencing new stuff and taking plenty of different shots of all kinds of things he realized what he truly is, a photographer even if his journey has not ended yet.

Comics are the kind of content anyone enjoys reading since they are not too long and are always funny, but sadly we don’t have too many on Steem. This user is sharing his great work exclusively for Steem and it’s a must watch since I do believe that it will make you at least smile.

Our next nomination of the day is from @thermoplastic
A significant number of stories, writings are popping up every day on Steem but not that many of them are able to stand out of the sea of content, but this one has something special, something memorable. This story, thanks to the author’s talent and the amazing illustrations that come with it, will make you feel like you’re part of it.

GARDEN OF FERNAL DELIGHTS - Otto’s Dream

Our next nomination of the day is from @adamada
Art is always fun to watch, and the best thing about it is that anyone, if it has the right tools and guidance, can create some no matter how bad they are at it and that’s precisely what this post is about. This in-depth tutorial, explaining every step and the tools used can give you an idea of what you need to do so you can create something like this too.

It’s always interesting to read about people’s journey into a specific field since you can learn so many things from their stories and model their success in the end. This user is sharing with us how he got into photography, how he found his passion and why he is doing what he is doing, and I urge you to check out his insightful journey so far.

People celebrate St. Patrick's Day in all kinds of ways, some go to festivals, and some just spend time with the family but others, a few talented ones, create some outstanding work. Make sure to check out this author’s post for an awesome drawing.

"The Lodge of Leprechaun"

Our next nomination of the day is from @armadillocreek
This user went on a walk outside, just wandering around until he found out something interesting, some burned trees, and he did some digging, mostly for fun. Besides trying to bring some awareness to forest fires, the conclusion will give you some food for thought, things never die but just transform themselves as the burned down tree become a home for other forms of life.

The curious case of fires on our homestead

Our next nomination of the day is from @breili
Even if most people have a limited idea of what art is, the truth is that it comes in all shapes and sizes even if that sometimes might be some broken dolls arranged in a funny way. This user is haring the story of a few different people and how they are expressing their artistic side by using abandoned dolls on the streets of Venezuela.

Dismembered dolls in Caracas.

Our next nomination of the day is from @tcpolymath
Movies are a great tool anyone should use, not just for entertaining but for learning new stuff from amazing characters and seeing the world through their eyes. This user is talking about “A Wrinkle in Time” and the similarities between our worlds and the fact that we could get into a similar place sometime in the future and that the movie stands as a warning.

I really like the sucsess story from @rubencress and a real inspiration for a beginner photographer like me with a lot of boosted motivation. :)
Loved the drawing posts, specially from @adamada giving out a message and the creepy but interesting dolls from @breili. Thanks to everyone for great quality posts.
Happy St. Patrick's day!
Thank you so much for this feature! :) Have a great day!
Thanks for including me - I try to make my posts interesting. The "rewards" are not my main concern: my reward is that many people see and enjoy my work. Some may not have any voting power, but that does not concern me. Myself, I upvote good comments (and follow), regardless of what their voting powers are.
