OCD DAILY - Issue #417
Welcome to the 417th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #417 highlights content from six (6) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found six (6) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The @OCD nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
Our top nomination of the day is from @katiefreespirit
Motanka dolls might be my new favourite thing! They are made with strips and leftover fabric, no thread is used, and once you started creating it you can't go back. Afterwards you tell the doll what you need from her, and if that wish or need becomes fulfilled the doll gets buried. Lots of pictures that show the process, but (of course) @katiefreespirit doesn't tell us her wish

Our next nomination of the day is from @sleepingcowboy
@sleepingcowboy sculpts, and in this post, he brings his skull-themed creations... well-timed as the Halloweentober month is looming ahead  Check it out and see the latest of his sculpture, titled Memento Mori, which is half a skull and half a human head, a reminder that Death is always a part of Life...

Skulls, skulls, and more skulls. Oh and an update on Memento mori (finished)
Our next nomination of the day is from @helgalubevi
@helgalubevi is a nomad and produces some of the best travel content on Steemit. This year she decided to settle down in Thailand, the country of smiles. She's integrated well with the locals and even offers free swimming lessons as she swims everybody to ease her back pain. All is well until she suddenly discovered irreversible enamel erosion damage on her teeth due to the acidity in the swimming pool. The cost to restore this is quite significant and she is appealing for support on Steemit. Hopefully Steemians can support one of our own in need.

Mark Shepard does not believe in the ocean; amazing song - and not really much that can be added to that. Beautiful performance.

hello, @ocdb bot belong to you?
Yes, OCDB is part of OCD, anything we can help you with?
Why do they throw downote into my posts?
Hi, the mindset of the #newsteem is to reward prrof of brain and high quality content, this means, discouraging the use of Bidbots by using our downvotes on posts that pay for votes and stack several bids on different voting services such as your posts.
it is unfair.
Congrats to everyone who was curated today!
Congrats authors for your great posts and great job curators for finding them. What a combo! pew pew pew
Congratulations! Your post has been selected as a daily Steemit truffle! It is listed on rank 1 of all contributions awarded today. You can find the TOP DAILY TRUFFLE PICKS HERE.
I upvoted your contribution because to my mind your post is at least 17 SBD worth and should receive 377 votes. It's now up to the lovely Steemit community to make this come true.
