OCD DAILY - Issue #60

Welcome to the 60th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #60 highlights content from nine (9) flourishing Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered nine wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.

The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say hello

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Today’s Top Nomination comes from @offbeatbroad, curated by @jznsamuel. In this piece @offbeatbroad takes us along on her family trip from Airdrie to Edmonton. If you have never been to Edmonton before this will give you a good look at the city, along with some real cute pics of @offbeatbroad’s daughter having a great time exploring the city. Check it out at the link below.

Our second post of the day is a video by @paolobeneforti that demonstrates how adding and removing layers in a painting can change the colors, light and transparency of a piece, curated by @gmuxx.

Our third piece is the first part of a series by @kerriknox that very clearly debunks flat earthers belief that Antarctica is an Ice Rim Wall, curated by @suesa. @kerriknox does a fantastic job pointing out the absurdities in the belief that Antarctica is an Ice Wall, and presents clear facts showing that the earth is indeed a sphere. Check it out at the link below.

Out fourth piece is a story that I bet all of us can relate to, spending the day without our smartphone! This piece is written by @preparedwombat, and he does a fantastic job of describing the feeling of nakedness that all of us have had when we have forgotten our phone at home for a day, curated by @howtostartablog. Check it out at the link below.

Our fifth piece is a discussion on the elephant tourism industry of Thailand written by @kbvictor, curated by @dorman. In this piece you will learn both about the negatives of the elephant tourism industry, such as why riding an elephant is bad for the elephant, and the positives, like how Elephant Sanctuaries are rescuing and taking great care of these animals. Check this post out at the link below.

Our sixth piece is a trip from Cleveland, Ohio to Madras, Oregon to see the recent eclipse, written by @thetravelman, curated by @ma1neevent. You thought we were done with the eclipse posts, but how could we pass one up that documents the eclipse from the only city that was able to experience 100% totality! Check this post out at the link below.

Our seventh piece is an inspirational piece that talks about how you should you do your best for yourself, and not for others, written by @walkinharmony, curated by @guyfawkes4-20. The examples of how different accomplished people carry themselves in this piece show us all the proper way to handle ourselves and our success. Check them out at the link below.

Our ninth and final piece is a fantastic pencil drawing by @cuteve, curated by @anomadsoul. The detail in this drawing is simply incredible, and seeing the piece evolve from the early sketch to the finished product is amazing. Check it out at the link below.

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!

Keep up the good work creating original content

Congratz! Thanks for sharing, cheers from Mexico!

Thank you so much ❤❤❤
I really really appreciate it !!
Happy to know that people really like my work ^ ^

muy interesante, me gusto mucho buen póst

i like the steembay idea and the elephants post is important - in the old days we didn't know better and thought it was helping the locals and elephants to ride them, now it is well known that they are abused and it is better to not support the practise by riding the elephants.

Ah! Thanks so much!
