OCD DAILY - Issue #61
Issue #61 highlights content from ten (10) flourishing Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered ten wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.
Today’s Top Nomination is a look at the amazing wooden houses in Bangkok by @hangin, curated by @howtostartablog. If you have never been to Bangkok before you would never imagine that these traditional wooden houses would be right in the city with all the condos, supermarkets and offices, but there they are in all their glory. Our second piece for today is a discussion on Gene editing using the CRISPR/Cas9 system, written by @justincottle, curated by @dorman. Our fifth piece is a fiction story written by @bex-dk, curated by @gmuxx. @bex-dk brings us a story from the real of Emerus in this post. Specifically, this story is about a little predicament that Smoek the dragon has to deal with, the imagery and humanization of the characters in this story is fantastic. Our sixth piece shows us some beautiful photos of Bavona Valley taken by @tzerophotography, curated by @elteamgordo. Val Bavona is one of the most pristine places in Switzerland, and @tzerophotography has perfectly captured how the man made buildings meld right into the landscape. In our seventh piece for today we learn all about @hamlets-mill, a “thirty-something bloke from the U.K.” @hamlets-mill is a pretty interesting dude with some very interesting family history. Our eighth piece is another delicious food post, this time we are going vegan though. Out ninth piece for today may be the first Steemit post ever to be all about penises, and yet it doesn’t need the NSFW tag! That would be because this post is all about nine weird animal penises, written by @trumpman, curated by @suesa. @ocd team, you guys are doing a great job of selecting these hidden gems from the plethora of steemit posts. People talk a lot about spam and plagiarism on steemit and crib that steemit is full of shit posts, but I think your post selections is the answer to all those who only focus on the negative aspects.
