Dose anyone Live in Taj Mahal ?

The mega structure was a tomb commissioned by the emperor Shahajan for his favorite wife. After her death she was buried in Taj Mahal. Soon after the completion of the Taj Mahal, the emperors son Aurangzed deposed Shahajan and he arrested his dad till death. After Shahajans death, Aurangzeb buried Shahajan in Taj Mahal next to his favorite wife's tomb.

Oh Yes,

  • The 18th Century Jat kings when invaded Agra also invaded Taj Mahal and grabbed the silver and gold plantings used on doors and main Tomb structure.

  • in Second World War the bomber plans were the threat, as the reason the British India government built scaffolding to disguise the structure. The famous spot could be a point of attack by Japanese Air Force

  • India Pakistan wars in 1960s and 70s, the same scaffolding techniques were used to disguise the building to hide it from the bomber planes and to mislead the pilots

Horrible things I felt

  • Taj Mahal Agra was commissioned in 1631 for his favorite wife. She died the Dsme year. Worst struck out was she died while she was giving birth to their 14th Child.

  • Shahajan was kept captive till death by his own son Aurangzeb
