The distress signal reached the Galactic High Council. Several other ships had sent out similar signals, so the Galactic High Council was well prepared when the emergency signal from the Nail of Discord reached them.

The voice of the military vessel was made monotone from the thousands of years of being a member of the Galactic High Council.
