Humans are social beings.
After all, if we were solitary by nature we wouldn't have grouped ourselves into civilizations,friend groups and families.
Throughout history we've lived and worked together.
Nothing has changed even today.
Lets just take Hive for example.
We may be blogging as individuals, but still hangout in small discord servers and chat groups where we get to know each other, listen to music, have voice conversations to ultimately help each other grow.
We call these groups, communities.
I have hungout with many communities right from my steemit days till now.
Some of the my most favorite ones were Moonbase, Newbieresteem and Easydex.
Each one had something unique about it and gave me an opportunity connect with some awesome Individuals.
Today I would like to tell you about the community that I've been hanging out with from the past few days, @hive-india
The Hive India Story
It wasn't planned to be honest.
The whole process was so organic.
It so happened that 3 Indian users who had initially connected in steemit.chat had reunited at the Hive discord after two years of gap.
You have heard the story before, Crypto got banned in India, people got disappointed and took a break from the Crypto space.
Exactly the same thing happened with @travel-cuisine @sidwrites and @rahul.stan. They came back only after they heard about the hive launch and decided to create a server for the 3 of them to catch up.
While they were having conversation they realized that their fourth friend named @looftee who also happens to be living in the same neighborhood as @travel-cuisine was missing all the fun on the server, so she texted him and got him to reunite with the rest of the pack.
So these four went on to become the founding members of Hive India.
The five of us pretty much hung out there everyday. Chatting all day and listening to music. We used to even be on voice at night, where we discussed various things happening on the blockchain and the real world.
So on this one voice hangout, The Marwadi genes of @sidwrites took over as he suggested that we should record these conversations and put it out on the blockchain for everyone to hear.
It was a simple idea that all of us liked, but the rest of us couldn't think of it as it takes a Marwadi to come up with such stuff. Business is in their blood.
Our Sid is an Idea Machine, he poops ideas every now and then.
Oh! This reminds me of a recent conversation we had on discord.
Yep, I absolutely felt disgusted after saying that.
So this how we started the @hive-india page and started posting our Group discussions every single day without fail.
Marwadi-An Indian ethnic group that originate from the Rajasthan region of India. They are usually very good at bussiness
Slowly and organically, We called our friends.
Our friends called their friends.
Few of them came after hearing our Group discussions.
This series continued and Hive India kept growing.
What is Hive India?
Like the name suggests, It is a community for Indians of Hive to gather, connect, engaged and unite as one single force. Its a place where we can just be "us" without having the fear of being judged. The ambiance is so friendly that it lets us open up and be ourselves.
What do we do at Hive India?
Well, We just hangout and try to establish a connection with the rest. At the same time, we try and cater to the needs of people who need help in understanding Hive and crypto. We are a diverse community of Writers, Vloggers, Video Editors, Developers, Gamers, Animal Rieki Experts, Farmers, Pharmacists who are all willing to share their life experiences and knowledge.
We also have daily hangouts on voice on our discord server at 10 PM IST everyday, where we usually have group discussion on various topics of life.
Its all about breaking the ice and getting to know each other.
We have a few more things planned in the days to come, but its a secret, wont tell you now.

What Hive India means to me?
I have always taken pride about being an Indian.
When Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit the famous 6 to win the 2011 world cup final, I had my face painted with the tricolor.
I get goosebumps whenever I listen to Vande Mataram by A.R Rahman.
I mourned when Our War Hero, Captain Vikram Batra was martyred.
We all shared these moments and emotions together.
My heart beats for India as much as yours.
And Hive India is My Virtual Home.
