Trouble is brewing in America. The reopening economy’s hunger for goods from China, and for the containers that carry them, has left importers of coffee, of which the average American guzzles two cups a day, struggling to ship the stuff from Brazil. They are using whatever they can get, says Janine Mansour of Port of New Orleans, where much of America’s raw coffee lands. That includes much bigger boxes, which reach maximum allowed weight before they are full. Importing part-empty containers adds extra costs, Ms Mansour says, and these will ultimately be swallowed by consumers.

How Susan Wright’s Campaign Knew She Would Lose
Susan Wright’s campaign had reasons to feel good Tuesday morning, coming off a tele-rally with former President Donald Trump the night before and armed with internal polling showing she had a comfortable lead over her fellow Republican opponent. But anxiety set in as the day went on and her campaign saw higher-than-expected turnout. Then, a couple hours before polls closed, her consultant, Matt Langston, got a call.
It was from a campaign worker at a polling place, and they said the kinds of voters who were showing up had ‘definitely changed.’ How do you know that? Langston asked.
Said the worker: “Because they’re all wearing masks.”

Hive Power Up Day:
I did a smallish power up this month. It could have been a bit larger but for Hive-Engine token buys of EDSM and UTOPIS, and I just recently used 100 liquid Hive, 50 to buy some SEED and sold the other 50 for HBD on the internal market after the recent Hive pump, hoping to convert back to more than 50 Hive after the price slides back down as it seems to always do 7–10 days after a pump:
I think I might start building up a bit of a reserve of liquid Hive to be ready for the next Hive pump and dump. So I might sit out next month’s HPUD, or just do a tiny one.
