Forest 2, Oil on panell, 50x40 cm, 2021

This painting is one of 5 that i made about christmas time. It's a very easy way to paint, maybe the easiest of all. I saw the technique by the great, amazing master Bob Ross 😅 I used to watch his shows where I had a TV, hahah, years ago! and where i saw him now I really had a wish to try it out. I don't have an initial photo of this painting, but I have it by another one, will be by my next posting of this kind of Work.
Very simple way of working: paint with black and white gesso and later glaze with oil. I intended to leave it black and white, I thought I would destroy it with paint, but it looks much nicer with a thin layer of oil. I also have to say, it looks life more interesting than on the photo.

Seems realistic painting. Very creative. I looking hard to draw. You said that its very easy way to paint. That is awesome.

I love the color palette! Works really well with the oil painting :D

Well done, this is truly breath taking! You said it's inspired by Bob Ross? Haha I can't believe it!

Thank you! Hahah, why not? He was really amazing, painted so easy...

Well I've always thought of Bob Ross as a good teacher for beginners, but at your level I find it fascinating that you learnt from him, taking what you needed.

Some of your strange garden works are very surrealist, a bit like Dali and miles away from photorealistic work of Bob Ross.

I still enjoy Bob Ross, his voice is also very calming, like he is tripping on opium or smoked some weed. Which is great 😁

Haha! 😆 You have such a wonderful sense of humor, that's rare! Yes, you are right, I also like his voice, so pleasant and easy, but I never thought that he took something. But now that you say ... who knows ... 😎

Strange that you mean I'm advanced, I see myself as a beginner (I just realized!). I've been painting for 20 years and my own style is slowly developing, but the better I get technical, the more I feel that I don't know anything and that I still have so much to learn.

Of course the paintings don't look photorealistic because I paint out of my head, but as soon I look away from nature or here from Bob Ross, it looks completely different. It's his technique, so you can immediately see that's a copy of him. That's why I don't see this painting as mine.🤷‍♀️ But thank you so much you see it different! 🙏😌

You totally have your own style, don't shy away from it because you are truly amazing! 🤗

Aww, thank you so much!!

nice drawing 😊
