Congratulations to @carrotcake whose design for a steemit ad by @gopaxkr now graces the subways of Seoul.
The ad tells us in Korean - 1 post/ 1 chicken. In this post by @sndbox, they translated to us the information on this initiative by @gopaxkr where they leased a few subway billboards to let passersby know that the time they spent posting could be of monetary value, in this case, enough for you to have a chicken dinner.
They go on to say that this manages expectations of those you are inviting over to steemit that this is not a get rich quick scheme but you get just a little bit of reward for your time and efforts.
A chicken dinner may not be riches to some but it is a luxury for others.
This is how huge an impact steemit has especially in a place like the Philippines where you can get the cheapest chicken for Php25 at the corner cart and Php75 at the nearest Jollibee.
This particular chicken meal of ours is at Wingstop in Alabang Town Center where we enjoyed from L-R of @greymonolith's cartoon head- mild buffalo, honey sriracha, and lemon garlic boneless chicken bites. To add to that we also had onion rings, my favorite, and french fries which the kiddos love.
@sndbox made the following shoutout, inviting everyone to get chicken.
